Antique arms produced or predominantly used in the Americas. Settlers of the New World typically brought with them arms of the old country, but new designs to suit the new frontier quickly developed, sometimes with cross-pollination from native tools and weapons. Out of the melting pot emerged new ideas which the industralised New World could turn out in great quantity - or flex their economic muscle and order from European factories.
